Republication Spirits in the Dark

I’ve just returned the proofs for  this book, the 30^th anniversary edition, which is scheduled to be published in September. For about a decade, I received inquiries from professors seeking copies of SPIRITS IN THE DARK. it went out of print primarily because of the collapse of General Publishing and Heinemann’s Caribbean Writers’ Series. Some professors continued to teach it using PDF copies. I look forward to seeing it again on course lists, and to hearing from readers worldwide.  I am grateful, therefore, to Simon Dardick and Dimitri Nasrallah at Esplanade Books (Véhicule Press) for this republication.
